The Loon Lake Community Association reports that no invasive species were found in the lake in 2024
Each year the Loon Lake Community Association engages scientists from Adirondack Research to survey the lake and search for invasive species. Their 2024 survey found no invasive species. However, residents of Loon Lake need to be vigilant and take proper precautions to prevent invasive species from entering our waterways.
